Knowledge only gains value when it can be shared

Grupo MV understands knowledge as an institutional asset that grows when documented, discussed and made available to others. This space brings together research, articles, reflections and technical developments that represent our way of understanding the built environment.

Knowledge

Thinking is also part of building.

Engineering and development evolve when ideas circulate. That is why we see this space as a natural extension of our professional activity. We publish what we learn, research and develop because we believe sharing knowledge strengthens both the institution and the wider profession. Knowledge loses part of its value when it remains isolated: documenting processes, explaining decisions and making visible the criteria behind each solution contributes to the collective development of the built environment. Publishing is not a complementary activity at Grupo MV: it is a natural consequence of the way we work.

Topics we address

Engineering

Articles, methodologies and developments related to structures, analysis, modelling and calculation.

Research

New methodologies, tools, algorithms and areas of work intended to expand Grupo MV's capabilities.

Reflection

Essays and institutional texts on the built environment, the profession, decision-making and the role of knowledge.

Research

Research in progress

We are developing Grupo MV's first areas of applied research. We will publish the results once they have sufficient evidence, validation and documentation.

Library

A library in development

We are preparing the first publications of Grupo MV's library. Each item will be added once it has been documented, reviewed and validated, prioritising quality over quantity.

Cases

Documented decisions

We are documenting the first cases in which a technical decision produced insights applicable to new projects. They will be published once they have the necessary evidence and validation.

Knowledge areas

Structural engineering

Behaviour and design of structural systems.

BIM

Coordinated modelling as an infrastructure for decision-making.

Optimisation

Reusable criteria to optimise structural solutions.

Applied artificial intelligence

AI tools that support technical judgement rather than replace it.

Urban development

Planning and development with a long-term view.

Territory

The built environment in relation to its geographic and social context.
